Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Diagnostic Clerk to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a Diagnostic Clerk, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Diagnostic Services Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform various administrative tasks related to diagnostic services, including data entry, record-keeping, and communication with clients.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of diagnostic information, maintaining high levels of quality and attention to detail.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Collaborate with the Charge Technologist and Diagnostic Support Supervisor to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Grade 12 education or equivalent.
  • Recent experience with office equipment, including computers, fax machines, and copiers.
  • Excellent knowledge of Windows-based programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work with minimal supervision and frequent interruptions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative multi-disciplinary team and respect culturally diverse populations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in office administration through a business school or college.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to speak Cree an asset.
