Diagnostic Imaging Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Diagnostic Imaging Clerk to join our team at Shared Health. As a Diagnostic Imaging Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our diagnostic imaging department.
Key Responsibilities:- Receiving requisitions and scheduling diagnostic imaging examinations using the Radiology Information System (RIS)
- Acting as a receptionist to patients and obtaining, entering, and updating patient/film information
- Registering patients on the computer system and retrieving digital images, filing, and retrieving DI films/digital images and CDs/DVDs
- Providing digital images/films to physicians upon request and sending digital images/films and/or reports to various facilities
- Grade 12 or recognized equivalent
- Successful completion of a recognized Medical Administrative Assistant Program or a recognized medical secretary program
- Previous PACS experience is an asset
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Ability to interact well with others and work independently with minimal supervision
- Good telephone manner and ability to work with accuracy
