We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable and Receivable Clerk to join our team at Canadian Plate and Profiles Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing general ledger, journal entries, and trial balance, as well as performing financial calculations and data entry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accounts Payable: Manage accounts payable, prepare invoices, and process payments.
  • Accounts Receivable: Manage accounts receivable, prepare invoices, and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger, journal entries, and trial balance.
  • Financial Calculations: Perform financial calculations, including costing and budgeting.
  • Data Entry: Enter financial data into accounting software, including QuickBooks.
Requirements:
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in accounting software, including QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel.
