Accounts Payable Clerk

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team at John Brooks Company.
Job Summary:
The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for processing and managing all invoices and vouchers, ensuring timely payments and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process high-volume invoices and vouchers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Monitor and resolve any invoice vouchering delays or discrepancies
- Liaise with vendors to communicate payment delays or requests
- Assist with the annual financial audit and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
- Update vendor files and maintain accurate financial records
- Perform other administrative duties as required
Requirements:
- College diploma in a related field, such as Accounting
- Minimum 1-3 years of related experience
- Basic understanding of accounting systems and processes
- Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and intermediate Excel skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy of financial information
