Strategic Procurement Expert

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Procurement Specialist to join our team at Johnson Service Group. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for contract management, negotiation, and procurement strategy to ensure compliance and value optimization in alignment with client policies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in finalizing contracts with vendors as per Contract Management Plans
* Administer contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with the government's guidelines
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and vendors to minimize risk and maximize contract value
* Prepare RFX selection methodologies, evaluation plans, and final award recommendations
* Proactively identify and resolve contract issues
* Support procurement strategy development and refine business requirements
Requirements:
* 7+ years of experience in procurement, with a strong background in contract management and negotiation
* Strong contract negotiation skills with demonstrated ability in resolving vendor issues
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite tools
* Experience using ERP systems, such as SAP
* Completion of SCMP or equivalent certifications
Preferred Qualifications:
* Familiarity with tender systems and E-bidding platforms
* Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
* Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
* Demonstrated ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of stakeholders
* Experience with project management and leading teams in a procurement environment
