Pizza Depot is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensure that our inventory levels are always adequate to meet customer demand.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and to lift heavy objects, as required.
