Pizza Depot is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food. You will also be responsible for training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as estimating ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation. Additionally, you will ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and address customers' complaints or concerns. The ideal candidate will have excellent oral communication skills, be a team player, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

The work environment is noisy and may involve odours. The work setting is a restaurant, and the tasks involved include establishing methods to meet work schedules, supervising and coordinating activities of staff, training staff, estimating ingredients and supplies, ensuring quality control standards, addressing customer complaints, maintaining records, and preparing reports.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 7 months to less than 1 year of experience. Alternatively, the candidate may have equivalent experience. The candidate will also be required to work in a restaurant setting and be able to stand for extended periods.
