About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at HLT Construction Ltd. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in supporting the recruitment and talent management needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Talent Acquisition
    • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent
    • Source and screen candidates for various positions within the company
    • Coordinate the interview process and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires
  • Employee Experience and Engagement
    • Administer employee benefits and programs, including employment equity and other HR initiatives
    • Coordinate employee performance and appraisal programs to support career development and growth
    • Respond to employee questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Support for Diverse Groups
    • Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations to promote diversity and inclusion
    • Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Manage HR systems and databases to ensure accurate and up-to-date information
    • Prepare and maintain HR-related reports and documentation
Requirements
  • Education
    • College or CEGEP diploma
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in HR or a related field
  • Language
    • English language proficiency
