About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Delicatessen Clerk to join our team at Vahagn's Your Independent Grocer. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and assisting with daily operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems to ensure accurate stock levels and efficient ordering processes.
  • Provide expert advice to customers on merchandise, including product features, benefits, and recommendations.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with the display and merchandising of products, ensuring a visually appealing store environment.
  • Maintain accurate sales records for inventory control, ensuring that stock levels are up-to-date and that orders are fulfilled efficiently.
  • Prepare merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease, ensuring that products are accurately priced and presented.
Requirements
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail to accurately handle and process transactions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
