Job Title: Delicatessen Clerk

Vahagn's Your Independent Grocer is seeking a skilled Delicatessen Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our store staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining sales records, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems to ensure accurate stock levels and efficient ordering processes.
  • Provide expert advice on merchandise, including product recommendations and demonstrations.
  • Offer exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist in the display of merchandise, ensuring visually appealing store displays and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Greet customers and engage in conversations about their shopping needs, providing personalized recommendations and services.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, tracking inventory levels and identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Prepare merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease, ensuring that all items are accurately priced and presented.
Requirements:
