Château de Mercuès is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes, ensuring exceptional service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to plan and prepare menu items, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and consistency, adhering to our high standards.
- Assist in inventory management, ordering, and stock rotation, ensuring efficient kitchen operations.
- Participate in menu tastings, special events, and culinary promotions, contributing to the success of our restaurant.
- Culinary diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a high-end restaurant or similar establishment.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, presentation, and kitchen management.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
