As a diagnostic imaging specialist, you will play a vital role in providing accurate and timely imaging services to patients. You will be responsible for operating complex imaging equipment, interpreting images, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.

About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care. As an MRI technologist, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, utilizing your skills and expertise to provide high-quality imaging services.

Responsibilities

  • Operate complex imaging equipment, including MRI scanners
  • Interpret images and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Provide patient care and education
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of imaging protocols and procedures

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technology
  • Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) MRI exam and certification
  • Nova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals (NSCMIRTP) licensure
  • Previous MRI experience preferred
