We're seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team in the Diagnostic Imaging department at St. Martha's Regional Hospital. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of all designated MRI suites, including instruction of students and direction of staff. You will also be responsible for ensuring that patient requisitions meet departmental standards and correlating clinical history with examinations to be performed.

About the Opportunity

The MRI Technologist will perform imaging procedures and patient care duties, consistently applying all safety rules and techniques applicable to the magnetic and radio frequency fields in use in the MRI environment. You will work closely with our team of professionals to provide high-quality patient care and ensure that our patients receive the best possible treatment.

About You

We're looking for a highly adaptable professional who can think critically and thrive as a member of a dynamic team. You will have a graduate degree from an accredited School of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technology and be certified by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT). Previous MRI experience is preferred, but not required. You will also have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Hours

This is a permanent full-time position, with a 75-hour biweekly schedule. You will be required to work call and shift hours, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
