Senior Manager, Data Quality and Governance

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager to lead our Data Centric Development team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our Global Application Technology team, you will be responsible for the strategic direction, leadership, and oversight of our data-centric applications.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute business and technology strategies, plans, and initiatives to ensure compliance with governing regulations and internal policies.
- Lead a team of ETL Developers and Business Systems Analysts in an onshore/offshore model, managing resources and technology direction.
- Deliver complex regulatory technology programs with multiple phases and business partners, requiring strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborate with business users, development teams, and senior management to build consensus and obtain cooperation.
- Stay up-to-date with current IT practices, systems development techniques, and rapidly changing technology.
- 10+ years of experience in IT and business/industry work experience.
- 7+ years of experience in leading end-to-end IT development cycles.
- 5+ years of experience in Agile methodologies.
- In-depth experience with application data design, architecture, and development.
- Hands-on experience with Agile and DevOps tooling.
- Undergraduate/master's degree in computer science.
- Spanish language proficiency.
