Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Coordinator to join our team at Stuart Olson. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with multi-disciplined employees and clients to ensure safety, availability, and client milestones are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with Operations and Planning to manage workflows and prioritize work schedules.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in field operations, preferably in E&I, Mechanical, or Manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, E&I, and plant processing equipment on an operating chemical facility.
  • Valid driver's license with a 3-year driver's abstract.
  • Required safety tickets: CSTS-2020, Energy Safety Canada Fall Protection, Confined Space.
  • Pre-access drug and alcohol test.

Working Conditions:

  • Working at heights, in and around noise, dust, indoor, and outdoor in hot and cold weather conditions.
  • Working in a confined space.
  • Personal safety equipment will be required, e.g., steel-toed safety boots.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be clean-shaven.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs; occasionally lift items weighing more than 50lbs with assistance.
  • Stand or walk for long periods of time.
  • Use arms and hands to reach for, handle, or manipulate objects.
