Blast Off is seeking a skilled Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our facilities operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities. Your duties will include supervising and coordinating the activities of cleaning staff, inspecting sites to ensure safety and cleanliness standards, and preparing budgets and cost estimates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of cleaning staff
  • Inspect sites to ensure safety and cleanliness standards
  • Prepare budgets and cost estimates
  • Recommend additional services required such as painting, repair work, or replacement of furnishings and equipment
  • Maintain financial records
  • Receive payment for specialized cleaning jobs

Requirements:

  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, judgement, and reliability
