Job Title: Excavation Site Supervisor

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Excavation Site Supervisor to join our team at Big Dig Excavating Ltd. As an Excavation Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the excavation process, ensuring that it is completed safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of excavation teams
  • Ensure that all excavation work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and company policies
  • Monitor and control the use of heavy equipment and machinery
  • Estimate costs and materials required for the excavation project
  • Prepare production and other reports as required
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities with other project supervisors or managers
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules
  • Requisition materials and supplies
  • Supervise workers and projects
  • Train or arrange for training

Requirements:

  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in excavation or a related field
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Accurate, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, and team player
