Job Title: Excavation Site Supervisor

Chela Transport Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Excavation Site Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the excavation process, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment, and coordinating with other project supervisors and managers.

Responsibilities:
  • Estimate costs and materials for excavation projects
  • Prepare bids and proposals for clients
  • Prepare production and other reports to track project progress
  • Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities with other project supervisors or managers
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed on site
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and deadlines
  • Read blueprints and drawings to understand project requirements
  • Requisition materials and supplies as needed
  • Supervise workers and projects to ensure quality and efficiency
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in excavation or a related field
  • Ability to work in a dangerous, dusty, noisy, and odorous environment
  • Willingness to relocate for work
  • Experience with demolition, equipment operation, and excavation
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Reliability and dependability in a team environment
