Job Summary:

The Project Director plays a critical role in consolidating and growing our business, supporting operations from inception to delivery. This involves driving efficiencies, directing business optimization, and improving overall organization performance. The Project Director is responsible for developing and overseeing major construction projects, providing guidance and support to project and construction management teams, and setting project strategy and success metrics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement project strategies and plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project and construction management teams.
  • Drive project delivery, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with health, safety, environment, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to ensure effective communication and project success.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and partners to strengthen industry leadership and credibility.
  • Drive innovation and propose technology improvements to industry state-of-the-art.
Requirements:
  • Engineering degree (Mechanical, Civil/Structural), or graduate of an applicable technical diploma program, and/or a combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 15 years in an oil & gas construction project management or project supervision role or large-scale construction experience.
  • 5-8 years working experience in a managerial role with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Availability to periodically travel to project sites.
Skills and Knowledge:
  • Understanding of the oil and gas pipeline & industrial construction industry and familiarity with relevant construction and safety codes, standards, and practices.
