Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Business Analyst to join our team at The Mirillion Group. As a key member of our Market Risk department, you will play a critical role in the implementation of FRTB initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and support market risk projects related to FRTB implementation.
  • Ensure overall project requirements align with business objectives and goals.
  • Manage and coordinate multiple sub-workstreams, providing direction and governance to BAs and engaging with program management leads.
  • Maintain compliance with requirements approach, process, and tools.
  • Oversee the completeness and quality of requirements documents produced.
  • Coordinate with QA managers to ensure requirements are testable.
  • Partner with business and solution architects to define business needs and recommend value-added solutions.
  • Plan, elicit, analyze, communicate, and manage high-level requirements to meet business needs.
  • Identify interdependencies within workstreams with project management.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in capital markets, preferably in Market Risk, Middle Office/Product Control, or Back Office.
  • Hands-on experience with Default Risk Charge (DRC).
  • Excellent quantitative skills, an MSc/Ph.D. in Mathematical Finance or a similar field is highly preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of derivative pricing, market risk methodologies, systems, and processes, as well as regulatory requirements.
  • The ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to business stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and solid understanding of IT practices.
  • The ability to work autonomously and under consistent time and workload pressures.
Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
