Job Title: Early Childhood Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Early Childhood Supervisor to join our team at Alberta Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Early Childhood Supervisor will be responsible for supervising staff, trainees, or volunteers, and assisting early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and train staff, trainees, or volunteers to ensure they are meeting the needs of children and families.
  • Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing programs that promote child development.
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain a safe and healthy environment for children.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children.
  • Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of other early childhood educators and assistants.
Requirements:
  • Child Development Supervisor (ECE Level 3) certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a child care setting.
Work Environment:

The Early Childhood Supervisor will work in a child care centre with a team of early childhood educators and assistants. The work environment is fast-paced and requires excellent time management and organizational skills.
