Job Title: Social Worker

Victoria General Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Social Worker to join our team. As a Social Worker, you will play a vital role in providing professional, skilled psychosocial assessment and interventions to individuals, families, and groups.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide psychosocial assessments and interventions to clients, families, and groups.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address clients' needs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Provide education and support to clients and their families.
  • Participate in team planning and problem-solving.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW) from a Canadian Association for Social Work Education (CASWE) accredited school/faculty.
  • Registration with Manitoba College of Social Workers.
  • Valid Manitoba driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • CPR training requirements in accordance with WRHA policy.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Two years recent and relevant experience.
  • Bilingual (French/English) candidates are preferred.
