Store Operations Manager

We are seeking a skilled Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations at Rx Urban Remedies. This role involves supervising staff, managing inventory, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, including staff supervision, inventory management, and customer service.
- Support retail staff, providing training and performance feedback to ensure high-quality service.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and conducting inventory counts to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Manage Canada Post parcel services within the store, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of packages.
- Ensure merchandising standards are met, including product displays and pricing accuracy, to create an engaging in-store experience.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally, maintaining a positive and respectful attitude.
- Operate the cash register and oversee cash handling procedures to maintain accurate and secure transactions.
- Assist in scheduling staff shifts and managing time-off requests to ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Maintain store cleanliness and organization, adhering to Rx Urban Remedies' high standards.
- Collaborate with the Pharmacist and healthcare team to support pharmacy operations, promoting a cohesive and supportive work environment.
- Minimum high school diploma; post-secondary education in business or related field preferred.
- At least 2 years of retail experience, with 1 year in a supervisory role, demonstrating leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Proficient with computers and retail management software, with a strong understanding of inventory management and cash handling procedures.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure, with a flexible and adaptable approach to changing situations.
- Organized, punctual, and detail-oriented, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of service and quality.
- Ability to lift and move merchandise as required, with a strong emphasis on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- Must notify the Store Manager of any health issues that may affect job performance, ensuring open communication and proactive management of workplace health.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, with regular breaks and opportunities for rest and relaxation.
