As a Retail Store Supervisor with 168 Supermarket Corporation, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our retail store. This position requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Retail Store Supervisor to lead our team and oversee the day-to-day operations of our store. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning tasks, and ensuring that all sales activities are carried out efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage a team of employees, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their targets
  • Assign tasks and duties to staff members, ensuring that all areas of the store are covered
  • Hire, train, and develop staff, including apprentices and new hires
  • Authorize payments, order merchandise, and oversee inventory management
  • Establish and maintain work schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Sell merchandise, prepare reports on sales volumes, and resolve customer complaints
  • Organize and maintain inventory, supervise and coordinate activities of workers, and manage cash handling
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to employees
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3-4 years of experience in retail management or a related field
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in iOS, MS Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications
