Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead our dynamic team and drive sales growth. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for developing sales strategies, managing store operations, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop sales through effective merchandising concepts, credit marketing, and strong communication with Buyers and Head Office
  • Train, develop, and coach store team members to achieve sales goals and maintain high customer service standards
  • Ensure operational controls, including health and safety compliance, cleanliness, and adherence to standard operating procedures
  • Lead the store team to accomplish company objectives and maximize profits through labor management and expense control initiatives
  • Understand store profitability, sales, turnover, expenses, markdowns, and budgeting
  • Familiarize yourself and your team with local competition, community events, customer needs, and new business opportunities

Requirements:

  • Exposure to commercial or retail industry
  • Prior experience in retail management, preferably with a focus on sales growth and customer service
