Warehouse/Showroom Assistant Job Description

At Trail Appliances, we're looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse/Showroom Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in creating an exceptional customer experience by ensuring world-class product presentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate the physical movement of appliances in and around the showroom and warehouse areas.
  • Unpack and prepare appliances for display, ensuring they are presented in a visually appealing manner.
  • Assist with the installation of appliances where possible, working closely with our installation team.
  • Coordinate the shipping and receiving documents for products moving in and out of the store warehouse, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Perform and maintain general cleaning schedules of the showroom, including staff rooms, office areas, bathrooms, and warehouse areas.
Requirements:
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain a high level of presentation in the showroom.
  • Previous retail showroom display or warehousing experience, with a focus on customer service and teamwork.
  • The ability to lift and move heavy objects (appliances) greater than 100 lbs, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Experience with small repairs and comfort using both hand and power tools.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a friendly demeanor, with a focus on creating a positive customer experience.
Work Environment:
  • Showroom environment, with a focus on creating a welcoming and engaging space for customers.
  • Full-time position, 40 hours a week, with a focus on flexibility and adaptability.
  • Must be reliable and able to work any schedule, including every Saturday and Sunday.
