Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

NORTHERN L.E.D LTD. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordination and Organisation: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Prepare and submit reports to management on warehouse activities, inventory levels, and other relevant metrics.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed.
  • Problem-Solving and Training: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Train workers in duties and policies, and arrange training for staff.
  • Performance Reviews and Work Assignment: Conduct performance reviews, co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure optimal productivity and efficiency.
  • Procurement and Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies, and establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient inventory management.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a warehouse or supply chain environment.
  • Support for Persons with Disabilities: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports persons with disabilities, offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities, and provides awareness training to employees.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees, assists with immediate settlement needs, supports social and labour market integration, and recruits newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Support for Youth: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment, offers on-the-job training, and provides awareness training to employees.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people, offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities, and provides cultural competency training.
  • Support for Visible Minorities: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports members of visible minorities, applies hiring policies that discourage discrimination, and offers mentorship programs.
