Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team at MGR Workforce. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and shipping goods in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments of goods
  • Verify the accuracy of shipment contents against purchase orders and packing lists
  • Report any discrepancies or damaged goods to the supervisor
  • Sort and store materials or products in designated areas
  • Ensure that items are properly labeled and stored to prevent damage and ensure easy retrieval
  • Pack orders efficiently and securely to prevent damage during transit
  • Assist in conducting regular inventory counts and audits
  • Report any discrepancies or shortages to the inventory control team
  • Assist in the organization and cleanliness of inventory areas
  • Load outgoing shipments onto trucks or other transportation vehicles
  • Ensure that all shipments are securely packed and documented
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • Perform regular checks and maintenance on equipment as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries
  • Report any safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor immediately
Qualifications
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform manual labor for extended periods
  • Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred but not required
  • Skills: Basic math skills, attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and strong organizational skills
  • Certification: Forklift certification (if applicable) or willingness to obtain one
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in varying temperatures, as warehouses may be hot or cold
