About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Saw Operator to join our team at Marcon Metal Fab, Inc. in Delta's Tilbury Park. As a Saw Operator, you will play a critical role in our steel fabrication process, ensuring the highest quality products are delivered to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a CNC band saw to cut various steel materials according to specifications.
  • Read and interpret shop drawings and technical documents to ensure accurate cuts.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to our rigorous quality management system.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Requirements
  • Proven experience operating a CNC band saw in a steel manufacturing environment.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret shop drawings, safety procedures, and maintenance manuals.
  • Solid understanding of steel fabrication techniques and familiarity with different steel grades and shapes.
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating effective multitasking and prioritization.
  • Experience operating forklifts, overhead cranes, and precision measurement tools is preferred.
