About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Supervisor to join our team at 7869673 Canada Inc. as a key member of our manufacturing department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Production Activities

Oversee the daily activities of production workers who operate processing machines and fabricate, assemble, finish, or inspect plastic or rubber parts and products.

Establish Work Schedules and Coordinate with Other Departments

Develop methods to meet production schedules and coordinate work activities with other departments to ensure seamless operations.

Recommend Personnel Actions

Recommend personnel actions such as hiring, promotions, and disciplinary actions to ensure a high-performing team.

Prepare Reports and Analyze Data

Prepare production and quality reports, and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Improve Productivity and Quality

Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality, and implement changes to achieve business objectives.

Train and Develop Staff

Train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.

Manage Resources and Supplies

Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to ensure that production activities are not disrupted.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Experience

At least 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role is required.

Computer and Technology Skills

Proficiency in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word is required.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding work is required.

Personal Suitability

Excellent oral and written communication skills, judgment, organization, teamwork, efficiency, flexibility, reliability, values, and ethics are essential.
