We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Specialist to join our team at Westlake Pipe & Fittings. As a Quality Control Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality products are produced and delivered to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform In-coming Materials Inspection to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Support Manufacturing Processes to ensure efficient and effective production
  • Perform First Article Inspection and Record Results to ensure quality control
  • Perform In-Process Inspection and Record Results to ensure quality control
  • Perform Final Inspection and Record Results to ensure quality control
  • Create and Maintain Inspection Sheets to track quality control
  • Maintain Product Traceability Sheets to ensure quality control
  • Perform Re-Inspection on any Reworked and Repaired Items to ensure quality control
  • Complete all Testing at Required Frequencies to ensure quality control
  • Perform Calibration and Maintain Records of all Measuring and Testing Equipment to ensure quality control
  • Control Non-Conforming Material for Receiving, In-Process, and Final Inspection to ensure quality control
  • Support the Team in Disposition of Non-Conforming Material to ensure quality control
  • Release 'on hold' products for shipments/recycling to ensure quality control
  • Coordinate QC Procedures to ensure quality control
  • Control Production Drawings to ensure quality control
  • Create Monthly QC Summary Reports to ensure quality control
  • All other duties as assigned to ensure quality control

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in QC an asset
  • Experiences with MS office, excel, word
  • Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds/23 kilograms
