We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Specialist to join our team at Pratt Industries, Inc.
About the Role:
This is a senior-level position responsible for the safe and efficient operation of production machines. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to optimize equipment performance, minimize downtime, and maintain high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate production machines safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with the production team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Develop and implement process improvements to reduce waste and minimize downtime.
- Train and assist junior staff members in equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, machine operational status, and quality control metrics.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 6 months' experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the packaging industry.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of production machinery.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
