Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Concordia Hospital. The successful candidate will collaborate with clients to plan and design services that meet occupational performance goals, promote health lifestyles, prevent illness and disability, and enhance overall well-being.

About the Role
  • Collaborate with clients to develop personalized service plans that address their unique needs and goals.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and create strategies for promoting independence and participation.
  • Develop and implement interventions to enhance occupational performance, reduce barriers, and promote healthy lifestyles.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring timely and effective communication with clients, families, and healthcare teams.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized university.
  • Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Manitoba (COTM) or eligibility for registration.
  • Experience working with adults and older adults in a rehabilitation setting preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
