Job Title: Registered NurseWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to patients with complex mental health needs.
Responsibilities:- Provide supportive nursing care to patients with mental health conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary treatment team
- Coordinate services and resources to meet patient needs
- Advocate for patient rights and entitlements
- Provide crisis management and emergency nursing care
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Preferred: Certification in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing
- Previous nursing experience in psychiatric/mental health specialization
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Mental Health Act, Health Care Consent Act, and Substitute Decision Act
- Safety and Security in the Workplace Training
- Able to meet the Standards of nursing practice of the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Recognized leadership skills with the ability to build the inter-disciplinary team approach to delivering interventions
- Competitive salary range: $39.07 to $56.00 per hour
