We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Residence Co-ordinator to join our team at Oakville Children's Homes. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support and guidance to our clients, ensuring their safety and well-being in a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and implement individualized plans for clients, taking into account their unique needs and goals.
  • Supervise and support clients in daily activities, providing guidance and encouragement as needed.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and community partners.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless delivery of services and support.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to ensure the effectiveness of our programs and services.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed, working closely with other team members and external agencies.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in child welfare or residential care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and mutual support.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
