Job Description

The Residential Care Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and delivering services to support the needs of children and youth in our care. This includes:

  • Coordinating daily living activities, including meal preparation and household chores;
  • Providing emotional support and guidance to residents;
  • Developing and implementing individualized plans to meet the unique needs of each resident;
  • Collaborating with other professionals, such as social workers and therapists, to ensure comprehensive support;
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting on resident progress;
  • Ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all residents.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a related field, such as social work or child and youth care;
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with children and youth in a residential setting;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies affecting children and youth in care.
