We are seeking a highly skilled Residential Care Coordinator to join our team at Oakville Children's Homes. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young people.
Job DescriptionThe Residential Care Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and delivering services to support the needs of children and youth in our care. This includes:
- Coordinating daily living activities, including meal preparation and household chores;
- Providing emotional support and guidance to residents;
- Developing and implementing individualized plans to meet the unique needs of each resident;
- Collaborating with other professionals, such as social workers and therapists, to ensure comprehensive support;
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting on resident progress;
- Ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all residents.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in a related field, such as social work or child and youth care;
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with children and youth in a residential setting;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies affecting children and youth in care.
This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a competitive salary range of $50,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive:
