About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement a sales strategy for your territory to achieve company sales targets and objectives. This involves analyzing market trends, identifying potential customers, and setting sales goals.
  • Territory Management: Manage all aspects of your assigned territory, including identifying key accounts, prospecting for new business opportunities, and maintaining relationships with existing customers.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Forecast sales volumes and track sales performance within your territory. Provide regular reports to management on sales activities, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and customer service to ensure a coordinated approach to sales and customer support within your territory.
  • Personal Training and Development: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure you have the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively sell our products or services.
  • Market Awareness: Monitor competitor activities and market trends within your territory to identify opportunities and threats. Use this information to adjust sales strategies and tactics as needed.
  • Travel: Travel within your territory to meet with customers, attend trade shows, and participate in industry events as required.
Requirements
  • At least five years' experience in a similar equipment sales role dealing with senior business decision makers in the market.
  • Experience managing a high volume of accounts.
  • A driven, hardworking account manager who brings a positive attitude to the workplace and places customers first.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Sales and Account Management training is an asset.
