Job Summary
Foicone is seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator to join our team as a key member of the Operations Control Centre. This is a critical role that requires expertise in monitoring OPS Services and underlying infrastructure, including mainframes, UNIX, Windows servers, storage, and network devices.
About the Role
As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for end-to-end monitoring of OPS Services and underlying infrastructure to ensure they are available as per defined SLAs. This includes responding to high-priority requests and incidents, participating in system recovery and service restoration efforts, and implementing change requests for mainframe, midrange, and network platforms.
Responsibilities
• Respond to high-priority requests and incidents, and participate in system recovery and service restoration efforts.
• Implement change requests for mainframe, midrange, and network platforms.
• Ensure Service Level Commitments to ITS clients and stakeholders are met.
• Participate in developing and delivering related training communications and procedural documentation.
Requirements
• 5-8+ years of demonstrated experience supporting large ZOS mainframe systems.
• Strong knowledge of server OS hardware components and end-to-end system management.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
