We are seeking a skilled Clinical Laboratory Associate to join our team at the Nova Scotia Health Authority.
The estimated salary for this role is between $40,000 and $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
Job Description:This position will be responsible for collecting blood, tissue or other samples from patients, setting up medical laboratory equipment, and cleaning and maintaining medical laboratory and laboratory equipment.
You will also process incoming requisitions and have knowledge of computer systems such as MS Outlook and MEDITECH.
Required Skills and Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you will require registration with a professional association, technical terminology skills, and experience in a fast-paced environment.
You will need strong attention to detail and manual dexterity to perform tasks accurately.
Benefits:We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including dental plan, disability benefits, health care plan, vision care benefits, life insurance, long-term care insurance, maternity and parental benefits, and other benefits such as parking available.
The work schedule will be 75 hours bi-weekly.
