About the Role

EightSix Network is seeking a highly skilled General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our residential property in Montreal. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth management of the building, providing exceptional customer service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the work of the housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure a high level of service and quality.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the apartment rental process, including optimizing human resources and streamlining business processes.
  • Ensure effective communication throughout the complex, including disseminating information to residents and staff.
  • Manage rent collection and deposits, ensuring compliance with established standards.
  • Optimize human resources to support operational and financial efficiency objectives.
  • Plan and execute tenant arrivals and departures, ensuring the safety and security of the building and its occupants.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to resident inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Responsible for marketing the property to maintain full occupancy, including developing and implementing marketing strategies.
  • Supervise outside contractors working in the building, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Work with the team to ensure their skills and knowledge are up-to-date and maintained.

Requirements

  • 3 years of relevant experience in property management.
  • Bilingualism (oral and written) in English and French.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A working knowledge of property management software systems, such as Hopem.
  • Experience in personnel management.
