About the Role

Cogir Immobilier is seeking a seasoned General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Mostra Maisonneuve real estate complex in Montreal. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth management of our -door building, fostering a positive and productive work environment, and delivering exceptional customer service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the work of the housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure the building is well-maintained and residents are satisfied.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the apartment rental process, enhance resident services, and optimize business processes.
  • Manage rent collection and deposits, supervise outside contractors, and oversee the maintenance of the building's systems and infrastructure.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the teams, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and effective problem-solving.

Requirements

  • 3 years of relevant experience in property management, with a proven track record of success.
  • Bilingualism (oral and written) and excellent communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of software systems, such as Hopem (an asset).
  • Experience in personnel management and leadership.
