We are seeking a skilled and experienced cook to join our team at NEW TOKYO SUSHI JAPANESE RESTAURANT. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Responsibilities- Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, following established recipes and presentation standards.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
- Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure accurate ordering and minimize waste.
- Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Gratuities.
- Permanent employment.
- 30 to 40 hours per week.
