NEW TOKYO SUSHI JAPANESE RESTAURANT is seeking a skilled Cook to join our culinary team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment will be essential in ensuring the success of our restaurant. In addition to cooking, you will also be responsible for inspecting kitchens and food service areas to ensure they meet health and safety standards. You will also be responsible for ordering supplies and equipment, supervising kitchen staff and helpers, and maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment. Responsibilities:

* Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
* Inspect kitchens and food service areas
* Order supplies and equipment
* Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
* Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment

Requirements:

* Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
* 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
* Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
* Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality and presentation
