We are seeking a highly autonomous Senior Food Safety and Quality Assurance Manager to lead our SQF system implementation and maintenance. This challenging role offers the opportunity to grow with a leading international food manufacturer.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience in a similar position, such as coordinator or SQF practitioner, and is able to work with a team/individually with less supervision.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the HACCP program, ensuring food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance meet or exceed internal policies, regulatory requirements, third-party audits, and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing food safety and quality program verification and validation activities, reassessing programs annually or when changes occur, and implementing or updating programs as required.
  • Leading and preparing external audits, assisting in following up on audit findings, and developing/implementing root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventative actions.
  • Leading the internal audit program, training the internal audit team, and conducting on-site verifications for pre-requisite programs.

The company offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, 5% annual bonus, 5% pension plan, 5 personal days, 3 weeks' vacation, and more.
