Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Senior Casualty Adjuster to join our remote claims team in Canada.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to leverage their expertise in commercial auto and property claims handling. As a Senior Casualty Adjuster, you will be responsible for evaluating claims, investigating losses, and negotiating settlements while maintaining high production levels and excellent customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate coverage, liability, and quantum of claims
  • Negotiate and settle claims in accordance with provincial licensing requirements
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and presentations of files
  • Work with managers to maintain client relationships and achieve business objectives
Requirements:
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in technical claims handling
  • Post-secondary education in an insurance-related field (asset)
  • CIP designation or working towards CIP designation
  • Independent Adjuster License with ability to maintain a full adjusting license in your home province (multiple licenses preferred)
  • Strong computer and reporting skills, including Office 365 and Windows 10
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A team player with outstanding customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and mathematical abilities
  • Able to manage multiple priorities
