At Delmar International Inc., we have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team in a pivotal role. As the primary HR contact for our Ontario and BC regions, you will be responsible for handling day-to-day HR matters related to our office and warehouse employees. This role requires a high degree of autonomy and the ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively with our HR team in Montreal.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies, coordinate the onboarding process, and ensure new employees are properly oriented to our company culture.
  • Employee Relations: Provide guidance to managers on performance improvement and progressive discipline, up to and including employee terminations.
  • HR Policies and Procedures: Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Employee Communication: Compose and send HR communication memos, provide guidance and support to employees regarding leaves of absence, and manage HR-related reporting.

Requirements for this role include a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, or a related field, and a minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an HR Generalist. Experience in a warehouse environment and proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 are considered assets.
