We are seeking a skilled Greenhouse Labourer to join our team at Olds Oasis Organic Inc. as a key member of our horticultural team.

Job Summary:

The Greenhouse Labourer will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the growth and maintenance of our organic produce. This includes cutting horticultural crops, dividing fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots, and assisting in pruning trees, shrubs, and plants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cut horticultural crops
  • Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots
  • Assist in pruning trees, shrubs, and plants
  • Mix and prepare soils
  • Pot and re-pot plants
  • Apply fertilizers
  • Report signs of insect or disease damage
  • Assist in grafting activities
  • Dig up wrapping rootballs of trees and shrubs
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
  • Clean work area
Work Environment:

The Greenhouse Labourer will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks. The position requires physical demands, including standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
