Job Title: Greenhouse Labourer

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Greenhouse Labourer to join our team at Olds Oasis Organic Inc.

Job Summary:

The Greenhouse Labourer will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of our greenhouse, including crop care, maintenance, and harvesting. This is a physically demanding role that requires a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cut and harvest horticultural crops
  • Divide fresh produce into marketable and non-marketable lots
  • Assist in pruning trees, shrubs, and plants
  • Mix and prepare soils
  • Pot and re-pot plants
  • Apply fertilizers and report signs of insect or disease damage
  • Assist in grafting activities and train trees to produce high-quality fruit
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens
  • Clean work area and maintain a safe and healthy environment
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and bending, crouching, and kneeling. The ideal candidate will be physically fit and able to work in a team environment.
