Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Greenhouse Labourer to join our team at Olds Oasis Organic Inc. as a Greenhouse Horticultural Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of our greenhouse, including crop care, harvesting, and maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Crop Care: Assist in the growth and maintenance of horticultural crops, including pruning, fertilizing, and pest management.
  • Harvesting: Assist in the harvesting of fresh produce, including vegetables, fruits, and flowers.
  • Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance of the greenhouse, including cleaning, repairing, and replacing equipment.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, reliability, team player.
Work Environment

Our greenhouse is a fast-paced environment where you will be working with a variety of crops and equipment. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel. You will also be working in a physically demanding environment.
