Job Title: Greenhouse Labourer

Olds Oasis Organic Inc. is seeking a reliable and hardworking Greenhouse Labourer to join our team. As a Greenhouse Labourer, you will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of our greenhouse, including planting, pruning, and harvesting crops.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in planting, pruning, and harvesting crops in a fast-paced greenhouse environment.
  • Perform tasks such as weeding, watering, and fertilizing plants.
  • Assist in grafting activities and train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality.
  • Report signs of insect or disease damage and assist in implementing control measures.
  • Assist in mixing and preparing soils, as well as potting and re-potting plants.
  • Perform other tasks as required to maintain a clean and efficient greenhouse environment.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks.
